My favourite places in Surrey
"Two favourite places I've photographed in Surrey are Richmond and Egham. Richmond because it's my hometown now, and to have the opportunity of photographing beautiful and successful photos in a place you love is marvellous.
Egham because it isn't far away and the countryside begins to take over. I have photographed in really beautiful places further west such as Marlborough and Devizes, or north in Royston, and there are some outstanding areas there. I just find it fascinating that we have so much nature so close to London, compared with urban areas that have little in the way of greenery except small local parks. The large central parks such as Regents Park are wonderful, but nothing can compare with real countryside; and the edge, the margin where it changes from south west London into true Surrey countryside is interesting to me.
Weddings in amongst nature are really good to photograph, as the visual opportunities that can occur are often beautiful and natural."
